Schaltungstechnik, Bezeichnung für die Art und die Ausführung von (komplexen) Schaltungen (z. B. Relais-, Fluidik-, Halbleiterschaltung), mit Angaben über die verwendeten Bauelemente (z. B. diskrete, integrierte oder Hybridschaltung, Bipolarschaltung) oder deren Zusammenschaltung (z. B. ECL-, TTL-Schaltung). Die Angabe einer Schaltkreistechnik erlaubt im Allgemeinen keine Rückschlüsse auf die Art der Funktion einer Schaltung. (Schaltkreisfamilie)
